The QUARdisc founders are a team of professionals who have been working in the industry for over thirty years. Added together, they can take pride in having almost one hundred years of passion, hard work, specialization, as well as a large network of contacts and experience in the field.
“Music has always played a dominant role in our emotional lives and subsequently in the professional careers we have pursued on stages, in television, in theatres, on the radio, on the web, in the record industry, in artist management, in organizing and producing concerts, in promotion and press offices, in short, in many of the activities that take place in this specific field. QUARdisc was born out of our desire to give new life and value to the physical music product, which we are fond of, and which still has a lot to offer, as the figures show.
We have worked in the music industry with vinyl, with the compact disc and all subsequent experimental sound carriers, including of course current streaming platforms; in our opinion, the three ways we have of listening to music nowadays, deserve something new, something in line with the times, both contemporary and innovative, bringing new development which also includes a missing link that is indispensable nowadays: user interaction.
We have been studying this project for a long time, consulting with all our colleagues and friends in the industry, the intention being to add something more to the world of music, and each one of them has contributed to the improvement of the QUARdisc project. All this is for the good of music enthusiasts, collectors, for the industry, for well-known and emerging artists, as well as all their fans. We’ll go back to enjoying music physically with a new product; this is a great result for everyone and we are happy to share it. Music is literally back “in our hands”.
